The seams in the single-ply membrane are bonded with a hot air gun.
When finished, the seams will be tested with a high-voltage electronic probe.

The membrane is being bonded to the insulation.
Two layers of insulation - up to a total of 300mm in thickness.

The plan of the roof insulation.
The sheets of insulation are pre-cut to falls, directing rainwater towards the outlets.
The garage roof membrane is finished.
The flat glass rooflights and the sedum plants are to come.

The oak beams will span across the space, supporting the glass rooflight above.

We are having brackets fabricated to clamp together the paired oak beams which will span across the staircase atrium.
These brackets are to be made of stainless steel and will carry the intermediate supports for the glass rooflight.
